EDUCO UK is developing this project on behalf of the Building Schools for the Future programme.  The aim of the school is to enhance the learning environment and to become a central hub for community events in the area. A hearing impaired centre will be accommodated within the new building, in line with the government's policy to integrate pupils with disability into mainstream schools. This will provide a specialist teaching environment for children with various degrees of hearing/visual impairment.

Progress on site has been going well.   The subframe for the building (steel frame and floors) are now complete and the envelope and roof are near completion.   

There have been numerous visits to the site from local students and teachers as they prepare for life in their new school.  Their feedback has been very encouraging for all involved.

Educo UK is the company that are bringing Hanson School into reality.  Educo is a joint venture between Costain and Ferrovial Agroman.  Having already succesfully completed Phase 1 (4 schools in Bradford) we have now moved on to Phase two which includes Hanson School!
